Planning a trip? Visit the pharmacy first

Different destinations carry different health risks, and some travel vaccines need to be given weeks before you leave to be fully effective. It’s best to check in four to six weeks ahead of your trip whenever you can.

Our pharmacists can review where you’re going and let you know which vaccines and medications are recommended — from routine boosters to travel-specific protection. We can administer many travel vaccines right here.

It’s also a good time to refill any regular prescriptions so you have enough for the whole trip, and to pick up travel essentials like motion-sickness remedies, rehydration salts, and a small first-aid kit. Ask us and we’ll help you put it together.
